Perfect Pairings
To take your grilling to the next level, pair it with the right beverage. These tips are just general guidelines, so feel free to get creative.
Hot Dogs
If you're serving up hot dogs with all the fixings, keep your beer simple. A light American ale won't oppose any of the flavours in the ketchup, mustard, relish, or frank itself. Plus, who doesn't love having a bun in one hand, a beer in the other, and the sun on your face?
Brats
Thinking brats? Then you have to go with German-style beers. A light pilsner washes down the strong savoriness of bratwurst, bierwurst, or really anything that ends in wurst.
BBQ Pork
Light, wheat-y beers pair well with any barbecued pork, as the fruit flavour of the beer strongly parallels the caramelization of the pork. If you can find a watermelon or orange flavored beer, that will take it to an even higher level.
With Wine

Kielbasa have a great old-world flavor, so pair them with a strong, earthy Pinot Noir. And the closer to the old-world, the better; try a bottle from Germany or Austria.

If you're grilling steak, stick with the heavy stuff. Merlots and Cabernets match the richness of red meat and won't confuse your taste buds.

White fish calls for white wine. And nothing goes with grilled fish like a simple dry wine. Try a dry Riesling, or even a Prosecco. For a little extra flavour, add some wine to your tent foil or directly onto your fish.
